Eosinophilic Eosophagitis (or esophagitis) is an inflammatory condition caused by the build up of eosinophils (white blood cells) in the lining of the oesophagus (food pipe), characterised by trouble swallowing, food getting stuck in the oesophagus, regurgitation, vomiting, heartburn, etc.
